I liked the first season better. I missed the actual police cases in the second season- we barely see Catherine doing her job! Anyway, this season really explores the depths of the huge ups and downs in the relationship of Catherine and Vincent. I have serious issues, though, with the way the writers represent the FBI and the U.S. government in general. FBI agents are not our enemies; they have caught countless numbers of potential terrorists and have prevented attacks in this country. They deserve a better representation in this show. However, the saving grace is the fabulous chemistry among the cast!! Kristen Kreuk and Jay Ryan are perfect together! All of the other actors are (regulars and guests) are absolutely wonderful and add so much to the show.
