This is a beautiful story about a girl and her grandfather who visit the beach and have the best time. The little girl knows that sometimes her grandfather forgets things he's done or becomes confused and her parents explain that his memory is like the tide.

A beautiful book about family, aging and empathy. This book will bring tears to your eyes, as you remember family members who are aging and forgetting things too. While there are many heartbreaking lines, there are so many examples of embracing these moments and seeing the positive.

But what if Grandpa forgets ME?
It must be scary to forget someone you love.
I haven't ever forgotten somebody that important.
